The 32-year old Magic Mike star Channing Tatum and his dancer wife Jenna Lee Dewan are pregnant. Married for three years, they said that the pregnancy is a total surprise. They first met at the set of the dance flick movie Step Up. They married in Malibu in 2009 and they have openly expressed to public how much they wanted to have a family.
Aside from his good looks and stripper dance moves, Channing is also known for his dramatic performances in Dear John and The Vow. While Jenna Dewan is better known as a dancer, she had made TV appearances and landed small movie roles. She and Channing dated after Step Up finished filming. It’s not just family that they’re both involved in. The couple started a production company called 33andOut and their first project is a documentary called Earth Made of Glass. The film made it to premier at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival.
Other celebrities that are also making the pregnancy headlines are, well, who wouldn’t know about Prince William and Princess Kate? It created media frenzy when Kate Middleton was admitted to a hospital and even a greater buzz when a nurse died over hoax. Among the Hollywood commoners, Busy Philipps from the sitcom Cougar Town twitted her second pregnancy with husband Mark Silverstein. Jessica Simpson is expecting again after just giving birth 7 months ago. (Girl, you’ve been busy.)
Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway is rumored to be expecting but she’s keeping it all a hush-hush. Jenifer Aniston is also saying nothing but the paparazzi is surely on it. (Better hurry Miss Aniston, the biological clock is ticking.) As for the stars who just gave birth, Megan Fox made it look like being pregnant is as easy as regurgitating a whole watermelon. She is so much back in shape it hurts. The day before she went into labor, Reese Witherspoon had also given birth. Congratulations to all you commoners, and cheerios to the royal couple.
